Luke and Dale came to me in June 2022 to build BeatMatch, the first dedicated online marketplace for DJs and electronic music gear. The brand needed to work for a global audience while staying rooted in New Zealand.
I handled the entire visual system—logos, colours, icons, illustrations, merchandise, digital layouts, and music visualiser animations. The approach had to be clean, techy, but bold. Everything from the logo to the digital layouts was designed to feel consistent and precise.
Seeing all the pieces come together—merchandise, the website, illustrations, and animations made the brand feel fully formed. It was rewarding to help shape BeatMatch into a cohesive identity that could support their goals for worldwide growth.
