PlayStation® 'It Happens On PS5' Display

In October 2025, PlayStation® New Zealand’s team reached out – they wanted help bringing a big idea to life for their ‘It Happens On PS5®’ campaign.

The scene: An alien UFO crash lands into Auckland — The beings on board don’t want to be seen, quickly, they activate their inter-dimensional portal and set a course for their home planet. The portal is too strong for earth’s gravity, the Symonds St corner begins to crumble as the portal pulls the surroundings into it’s core.
